Welcome to Mrs. Russell's Transition 1 Classroom on the Net!

I started this web site as an information source for the parents of my students as well as a resource for other T-1 and 1st grade teachers. While my primary goal is to make this site a useful tool to inform, update and involve my classroom parents, as the year progresses I aspire to add ideas from our units of study and other classroom activities as a resource for other teachers. Over the years I have found other teacher made web sites a useful and much appreciated source of ideas for my classroom. I hope to make this site a valuable contribution to the resources the Internet provides for education.
